What do car roof lining repair services include?

We cover the entire process of car roof lining repair, from removing the fabric to reinstalling the headliner. While you can DIY the repair or have it done at a shop, Airtasker gives you the benefit of a professional car upholsterer and the convenience of having the repair done at home. No need to bother with booking an appointment at the shop or buying installation tools. Your service provider will travel to your home, workplace, or garage, bring their tools, and take care of the whole repair.

Preparing your car and the necessary tools

Before your service provider removes the sagging headliner, they will need to disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove any accessories that may get in the way. In some cases, removal of the right passenger seat is necessary to check the entire roof lining.

Evaluating and removing the car roof lining

Next, your service provider will examine the roof lining. It may only need some glue in the sagging areas, or it may need a total reupholstery. Should there be any need for replacement, your Tasker will use a knife or blade to remove all traces of the old material.

Replacing and reinstalling your car roof lining

In the case of a total repair, your service provider will handle the glueing and fitting of the new roof lining. After this, all accessories and seats will Fobe returned to their proper places.
