I’ve hired a taxibox and need someone to help my partner with some boxes and two pieces of furniture, namely a sofa bed and dining table. Neither are super heavy, just awkward to carry if one of the people trying to carry it (e.g. me) isn’t very strong. The summary: All our stuff is in our garage right now, including bed, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fridge, couch. As much of it as possible needs to be put back in place between 3:30pm and 8:30pm this Thursday. The detail: We are getting flooring installed throughout our two-bedroom villa between Monday (today) and Wednesday this week. Only the bathroom and the garage floors are not getting done. This has required my husband and I to move literally everything in the house - furniture, appliances, everything - into either the garage or a taxibox sitting on our driveway, so that there is nothing on the floor. We are staying in accommodation off-site, but we check out and come back home Thursday. We will need enough of the garage unpacked with essential items back in place (such as our bed) by the time we need to go to sleep at around 8:30pm. The tricky part is that you won’t be able to start until around 3:30pm at earliest. This is because you will need one of us to be there to tell you where to put things, and we are both working that day. The earliest we’d be available is 3:30pm. We have a trolley, though the spaces you have to navigate are kind of narrow and there is a step between the garage and house, which makes it a bit tricky to use the trolley for most items - there is a fair bit of heavy lifting required.
