Hi, I’d like a person with embroidering experience to embroider a name on a bath towel. (A simple classic machine embroidery stitch.) This is not a logo, it is just a persons name. Have some cotton old adult t-shirts I would love to be turned into 3-4 oversized rompers for my toddler. I have one romper that could be used as a pattern if need be. Prefer stud close buttons along the crotch. I can drop off the materials and purchase any additional bits and bobs. Seeking a seamstress or experienced home sewist to whip up a copy of a dress I already own and love (I find it difficult to find styles & fabrics I am comfortable in). Photos included for reference — it has a looser, drapey top and a double-layered ruched skirt, and I’m hoping to recreate that overall shape and feel. The size is ~ Aus 18-20. I already have what should be adequate fabric: the aqua, navy, and white patterned knit shown in the photos. It came from a remnant box so there’s no label, but it’s very likely an ITY (polyester/elastane) knit — very stretchy, fluid, and cool to the touch. This is intended to be a summer version of the dress. It doesn’t need to be couture or factory-perfect — just well made, wearable, and comfortable. I’m specifically looking for someone with experience sewing stretch and knit fabrics. I could sew this myself, but knits aren’t my usual comfort zone, so I’d love to work with someone confident handling them. I’m flexible and practical. Sleeve and skirt length can be adjusted to suit the available fabric, and I’m very happy with a cowl neck if that’s easier than recreating the original neckline. I also have a modern Janome sewing machine and overlocker, which you’re welcome to use at my place if helpful. Friendly project, realistic expectations, original dress provided as reference. Hello A bit of a strange one. I am reaching out on behalf of my son, who is a goalkeeper. Recently, he fractured his little finger. While he has now been cleared to play, his doctor has advised that he must wear a splint to protect the finger. We have a brand new pair of gloves, but they need be sewn so the little and ring fingers can be strapped together...a bit like the attached picture. Any help greatly appreciated! Best regards, Jeff

I am looking for an experienced person to make / sew a custom sized fitted bedsheet to fit one of the mattresses on my boat. It is an odd shape (see photo and rough sketch with measurements) but it should be fairly easy for a dressmaker or similar to do. Keep it mind it is a fitted sheet, so needs a drop on all sides with elasticated edges (mattress depth measurement included in sketch). I can provide the material and elastic if necessary, or happy to pay up to double if you can supply your own (material must be suitable for a bedsheet, either cotton or cotton blend, in any solid colour). I had a friend previously offer to do it but they have stuffed me round for months, and I really need it ready by October for a trip. I’m located in Seville Grove, but happy to come pick it up once completed as long as you’re in the Perth metro area :)
