Details: My current lock is a mortise-style multipoint lock with both a latch and a deadbolt, recessed into the door. I am replacing it with a simple latch-only smart lock — no deadbolt, no multipoint mechanism. Task includes: Remove the existing mortise lock Do proper carpentry work to fill and finish the hollow section left in the door edge Install the new latch-only smart lock cleanly Ensure the lock is installed securely and operates properly (hardware installation only – no app setup required) Important: The new lock is smaller than the original, so carpentry work is essential to ensure the door edge is cleanly patched and looks professionally finished Labour only — I will supply the smart lock: Lemaar Black Rectangle Latch Smart Lock (which you can find from bunnings) Looking for someone with experience in both lock installation and carpentry repair for doors.

Im at an Airbnb and I think I broke the lock and want to fix it tonight. The Latch is turning but door not unlocking from the inside, I want to keep existing mey obviously. I am able to open door from inside by putting a card between the slit. Entry from outside works fine and key turns the lock no problems

Hi, I need help with two issues on my 2006 Toyota Camry: 1. The driver door lock that works with the key doesn’t lock properly in cold weather. When I turn the key to lock, the car beeps twice but doesn’t lock right away. I have to turn the key several times before it locks. 2. The driver side window rolls down normally but won’t roll up smoothly. When trying to close it, the window moves a few centimeters, then stops. After waiting a few minutes, it moves a bit more. Door latch has come out of door. Is not part of lock. Needs to be refitted with new spring. Should be 5 min task for someone who knows what they are doing (unlike me !!)

French china cabinet … I’m guessing 50 years old ,,, with two doors and two locks. One lock is not functioning, locked tight and will not turn at all. The second lock turns but is sticky. If you know something about how to fix locks I would be pleased to have your assistance.
