I'm interested in whether it night be possible to engage someone for weekly meal prep and general house cleaning. This is my first time considering putting this request out there's so I'm open to ideas/discussion on what might be possible. Meals are the primary ask, and would be great if they are healthy, and perhaps to cover 3 or 4 days of the week. Cleaning is a bonus if that can be done by the same person, but happy to put this into a separate task if that would make more sense. Appreciate any proposals. Thanks - Due date: Flexible

There is no way to sugar-coat this task so I will describe it as is. I am trying to help a friend who is an alcoholic and is currently in detox after a pretty bad binge period. She has sustained some injuries and will be coming back to a home that was left in a bad condition and needs cleaning. This has happened before and when she comes back from detox to a dirty flat, it's been adding to her depression and causing her to relapse back into drinking. We are trying to get that flat cleaned so that when she is recovering, it is less overwhelming and she has better chances of staying sober for longer. Basically, I am hoping to find someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty to help clean up her place when she comes out on Monday. She should be there and sober that day, Her mobility is slightly restricted due a broken rib so that's why we need someone to help with cleaning. There are a few things that need to be done from what I know (I haven't seen her place as I live in a different city): - Help to move the couch/sofa - Take out trash (bottles etc) - Do the dishes/clean up kitchen area - Help to clean the bathroom/toilet There may be a couple more things but around 2-3 hours of work. I imagine the place will be a bit smelly and unpleasant to step into so I recommend a mask and gloves but there are probably worse cases out there, to be honest. She is normally a clean person, just had a pretty bad period lately. Please note, we do not require a DEEP clean, just a basic surface clean to get her started and settled. I really hope this will help her with recovery this time around. - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 12 December 2022
