Household Helper / Family Assistant – Gladesville We’re a busy family in Gladesville looking for a warm, reliable and proactive person to help us keep our home and family life organised. This is not primarily a cleaning role — we already have regular cleaning covered. We’re looking for someone who enjoys making a household run smoothly and is happy to notice what needs doing and get stuck in. Jobs might include: * Preparing simple family meals or getting dinner ingredients ready * Chopping vegetables and doing food prep for the week * Making/packing children’s lunches and snacks * Keeping the fridge and pantry organised * Putting groceries away * Tidying and organising toys, cupboards and children’s belongings * Sorting clothes the children have outgrown * Organising items to donate * Folding and putting away washing * Changing beds * Packing/unpacking for trips or activities * Restocking household basics * General organising and those little household jobs that are surprisingly good at piling up We have two young children, so someone who is comfortable working around family life is important. This isn’t a nanny position, although occasional help with the children may be useful. We’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, practical, organised and genuinely proactive. The ideal person is someone who can walk into the house, see what would make life easier and get on with it without needing every task spelled out. Regular ongoing hours available in Gladesville, NSW, with some flexibility around days/hours - likely the best suit will be available five days over the week for a couple of hours each day and include a couple of nights for a week, We’d also love someone who may occasionally be available for extra help when needed.
