Due to family medical emergency, I am looking for a cat sitter to start from 1 July (or as close to that date as possible). It is likely to be 2 weeks but could extend depending on the medical situation. I would need to bring him mid afternoon. I will provide all necessary items - bedding, food, bowls, snacks, toy, litter tray & litter, etc, plus leave additional funds for top ups. His personality and needs: * Doesn't really like being picked up but will tolerate it for between 10-30 seconds :) * He's not a lap cat but if he's comfortable with you, he may snuggle up next to you on the couch or bed * Needs his key meals (wet-food) split into smaller portions spread over an hour - else he will chug it down too fast … and we know what that means! The rest of the day he will graze on biscuits. * Hardly sheds; no grooming required * Gentle but a bit shy with strangers * Being a bit older, he's mostly happy to just sleep most of the day away but sometimes he may get his 'kitten' on and romp with his toy mouse for a few minutes * Can't deal with rowdy children or frantic dogs; may be okay if you have older or very placid other pet * He is a Bengal so he's not little but certainly not huge like a Maine Coon :) House Preferences: * Access to whole house - not just locked permanently in one room * Does like going outdoors so if you have a well contained area that's a bonus ... I can also bring a long lead that could be used to contain him within the boundary Preferred location is within 30km west of Bayswater or 30 km north of Moorabbin or 30km east and south of Melbourne Airport … But the right person is the key :) Please quote back with daily rate and we'll take it from there ...
