Stolen and recovered vehicle. Engine turned over but wouldn't fire, now I can't get it to spin or fire, while just sitting. Need to have the fault identified correctly so the family can make a decision on its future. Was a well looked after smooth running family car before being stolen.

2014 HOLDEN CRUZE JH 1.8 LT AUTOMATIC ENGINE PULLED OUT AND PUT IN A 2013 HOLDEN CRUZE JH 1.8 LT, MANUAL CAR

I need a mobile mechanic to inspect my 2012 Toyota Corolla. - It has several engine lights on, - when I start the car I smell a very strong petrol smell, - the engine revs are abnormal and doesn’t settle down, - it ran out of petrol 9 months ago whilst pulling into a petrol station, before it cut out it shuddered (pretty standard) but once petrol was filled it didn’t stop. It’s intermittent, one day it’s like theres nothing wrong, the next time the car is started it sounds like it won’t make it out of the driveway. - it’s shuddering especially while reversing or idle, - it’s stalled a couple of times at the lights despite being an auto, - fuel consumption has skyrocketed, - diagnostic scanners say says 2nd cylinder is misfiring, can’t be overridden. - now there’s a burning smell coming up from the gearbox/handbrake area which smells scary and expensive. I’ve had a few guys who aren’t mechanics check it out for me and the process of elimination guessing game is time and money consuming. Fuel injectors and rail have been cleaned, spark plugs cleaned, battery checked, ive been told it’s potentially the coil pack, something to do with the transmission, a fault in the fuel system, even a loose wire. I am on a very limited budget and am hoping to connect with an honest mechanic who can actually diagnose what is causing all of this, a quote on the cost of repairs and who is able to help me with cost effective repairs.
