Hi there, I’m looking for a mobile mechanic to come and inspect my 2016 Jeep Patriot (over 200,000km, but runs great) and fix it. I bought it pre-owned around 2 months ago, and it’s been performing really well – even drove it to Sydney recently without any issues. However, a few problems have started to show up: 1. Squeaking Noise While Parking: For the past 7–8 days, there’s a squeaking noise when I’m parking. A service station had a quick look and thought it was due to moisture, but it hasn’t rained in over a week and the issue remains. The brake pads are brand new though. 2. Occasional Jerks While Driving: Nothing too drastic, but I can feel slight jerks on and off. Would like this checked thoroughly. FI motor was checked and sensors were fixed last month. 3. Check Engine Light: It came on recently. A workshop ran diagnostics and cleared the code, saying the exhaust was misreading airflow as impure. But the light came back on, so I’d like a second opinion and a proper fix. Additional Info: • Car was fully serviced last month and has only done around 3,000 km since. • The performance is still solid, but these small issues are annoying and I’d prefer to get them sorted. • I can’t drop the car off, so I need someone to come to my location. Also I need a thorough wash- inside and outside the car.

My Vespa 125cc primavera’s scooter engine has given out and not worth a rebuild. But I can source a very low km replacement. Just need the old Vespa engine unbolted / dropped out and the replacement refitted. A home car/motorbike person with the tools should be able to do this without much trouble. (Happy to help out via the YouTube tutorials!)

I have a Peugeot 308,2.0, SW, 2012. Engine light stays on all the time and when I start the car it says Engine failure. The engine's working fine (I've done hundreds of kilometres with this on). Two mechanics have looked at it and haven't been able to fix it. One of them ran some tests (see attached results) but would charge at least $400 to keep looking.

I have a new adventure kings lithium battery in a battery box for camping It will have DCDC cables that can run through or underneath my car and connect to the fuse box / engine so it can charge the battery while driving Adventure kings have a detailed video on how to do this. Must go to the fuse that only works when the car is turned on to drive , not in accessory mode . May require you to have a fuse light tester to check which fuse works only when car is on. Probably needs to be a mechanic , electrician or someone who’s done battery camp set ups . Hi all I have a 2012 Honda Accord. Recently it started misfiring which the mechanic said was due to oil fouling on the spark plugs due to worn piston rings. The oil fouling took about a year to cause a problem and went away once the spark plugs were cleaned. The mechanic said it was best to put in a new engine and quoted 5000+ dollars. I'd like a second opinion on what to do and any other options I might have like maybe just replacing the piston rings. Ideally I'd like an experienced mechanic with knowledge on Honda's and maybe even the J35Z2 LEV engine. It'd be over email first and then maybe If you are interested I'd need someone to do the work. I want to remove the engine and manual transmission from a 1991 Honda Prelude with severe chassis damage. Then, I want to remove the engine from another Prelude (which has an automatic transmission, doesn’t run, but has a solid chassis). Finally, I want to install the good manual engine into the car with the healthy chassis.

Bought the machine new , need some tips on how to make it work. It has started a couple.of times.

I have the REPLACEMENT ENGINE FAN, in its frame ,ready to fit. Take old one out ,fit the replacement . 4 screws ! I no longer have any tools to do this.15 minute ,easy access engine .
