One section of the kitchen ceiling is sagging, as shown in the photos. I’m looking for someone who can re-secure the ceiling by re-nailing it and repositioning it correctly, then repair the damaged plaster. Please note: Painting is not required. The job is for ceiling re-securing and plaster repairs only.

I have a fully assembled IKEA PAX wardrobe (two units, see photos) already in position in a bedroom alcove. Looking for someone to finish it off so it reads as a genuine built-in rather than freestanding flat-pack furniture. Scope: * Frame/box in any gaps between the top of the wardrobe and the ceiling * Scribe and infill any gap between the wardrobe and the adjoining wall * Plaster/stop and sand the new timber sections so they're flush and seamless with the existing wall and ceiling finish * Ready for paint (happy to paint myself, but open to a quote) * No assembly required. The wardrobe itself is already built and in place. Flexible on timing, let me know your availability.

Looking for an experienced painter/decorator to create a limewash feature wall in my apartment in Melbourne 3004. The wall is approximately 1420mm wide, floor-to-ceiling above an existing built-in electric fireplace (photos attached). I’m after a warm, textured limewash finish in a neutral taupe, stone or warm greige colour, similar to the inspiration image attached. The overall look should be contemporary and sophisticated, with subtle tonal variation rather than a heavily textured or rustic finish. Scope of work: * Prepare the existing painted wall, including cleaning, filling minor imperfections and sanding as required. * Apply suitable primer/base coat for the chosen limewash product. * Apply limewash using the appropriate technique to achieve a soft, natural, cloud-like finish. * Protect the fireplace, surrounding walls, flooring and furnishings. * Clean up upon completion. A few important details: * Only the main protruding fireplace/TV feature wall is to be painted, not the surrounding walls or lower hearth. * I’d appreciate some guidance on colour selection and the most suitable limewash product. * Ideally, the person completing the job will have previous experience with limewash or decorative paint finishes. * Please include whether your quote covers paint, primer and other materials, or labour only. I’ve attached a photo of the existing wall and an AI-generated mockup showing the finish I’m aiming for. Flexible with dates. Please share examples of similar work you’ve completed. Thanks!
