Project Overview Alfresco ceiling renovation — ceiling only, no walls. All trades supply own materials. Area: 5.5m x 2.3m (12.65m²) — open alfresco, semi-outdoor/humid environment. Note: Electrician will disconnect and temporarily remove 4 downlights and flush-mounted exhaust vent prior to demo, and reinstall after painting. Electrical under separate licensed contractor. Stage 1 — Demo (Labourer) Remove existing ceiling once electrician has disconnected and removed fittings. Carefully score paint line and remove existing cornices — set aside intact for reinstall. Do not force or snap. Supply: • Drop sheets, rubbish bags, hand tools • Scoring knife for cornice removal • Rubbish disposal: bag and bin on site Stage 2 — Plasterer Install Aquacheck moisture-resistant sheeting (5 sheets). Plaster & set ceiling over Aquacheck. Cut 4 downlight holes and 1 exhaust vent penetration in same positions as existing, ready for electrician. Reinstall existing cornices if undamaged, or replace if required. Sand ready for paint. Supply: • Aquacheck sheets x5 (2400x1200mm) • Screws, adhesive • Base coat, setting compound • Fibreglass jointing tape • Sandpaper • Hole saw / cutting tool for downlight and vent penetrations • Cornice adhesive for reinstall Stage 3 — Clean-Up (Labourer) Full rubbish removal and site clean. Supply: • Bags, broom, vacuum • Rubbish disposal: bag and bin on site Important Notes • Aquacheck must be rated for semi-outdoor/humid use • Confirm downlight positions with electrician before plastering — holes must align with existing wiring • Exhaust vent penetration to be cut in same position as existing — electrician to reinstall vent • Cornices to be carefully removed during demo and reused if intact — advise if replacement required

Need an experienced painter for a home theatre/media room paint job in The Ponds. Scope: - Paint ceiling - Paint 2 side walls - Paint front projector/screen sourrounding wall area Room size: Approx 3.8m x 4.7m with 2.4m ceiling height. Paint: - I will supply paint. - Looking for recommendations on suitable ultra-matte dark charcoal paint for projector/home theatre use with minimal light reflection. - Please advise if primer/sealer undercoat is required before painting over existing light walls/ceiling. Ceiling gyprock repair: - There are approximately some small gyprock/plasterboard ceiling cutouts (brush plate size) from HDMI/speaker/projector cable installations. - Proper patching, sanding, flush finishing and prep required before painting. - Ceiling finish needs to be smooth and neat as this is a projector theatre room.
