I need a licensed electrician to safely disconnect and remove a built-in electric fireplace insert from a tiled wall surround. I want to KEEP the unit, so it needs to be removed carefully and not cut apart. Details: - Black trim frame with mesh front and log-style display, set into a tiled wall above a granite hearth - Appears to be hardwired. There is a white junction box in the lower compartment behind a cover plate (photo attached) - I've removed the lower cover plate (two screws) but can't find any other fasteners holding the unit in. It may be held by hidden screws, brackets, clips, or caulk Scope of work: 1. Turn off power at the breaker and confirm it is dead 2. Disconnect the wiring and safely terminate and cap the cables 3. Carefully remove the unit, keeping it intact 4. Please confirm there is no gas line connected to the unit 5. Place the removed unit in the garage or an agreed spot on site Notes: - Tiles and surround should be left as undamaged
