Hi! The job is $30/h. Looking for a friendly, patient online maths tutor for my daughter (Year 4). Ongoing — one 1-hour lesson per week over Zoom, with a bit of homework set and marked each week. What I'm after: • Teaches using the Singapore maths methodology — bar modelling, the concrete–pictorial–abstract approach, heuristic problem-solving (or happy to teach this way). • Focus on making maths enjoyable and building her confidence — not pressure or rote drilling. • Bonus if you can stretch her toward maths competitions over time (e.g. Math Kangaroo, AMC). • Female tutor preferred. Uni students welcome. Availability: 3–5pm on Mon, Fri or Sun. Location: Online only (we're Melbourne based). Long-term: hoping to find the right person for the long run if it's a good fit. Please include a bit about your maths tutoring experience, and whether you've taught Singapore maths. Happy to start with a trial lesson before locking in a regular weekly slot. Thanks!

I am looking for an experienced and patient math tutor for my daughter. She is currently in Year 10 and undertaking Year 11 Mathematics Advanced and is currently doing expotentials and logs. See attached syllabus for details She will commence Year 11 Maths Extension 1 next year and potentially Extension 2 for NSW HSC This post is for an initial 1.5-hour trial session. If the trial is successful, I am looking to transition this into a regular, long-term weekly arrangement.
