Require legal advice from a construction lawyer or retired construction lawyer before formal appointment to prepare legal letter. Would like to know our position. Budget depends on experience and what you can offer as I am not sure what is required. Signed HIA contract with builder. Paid up to lock up stage. Discovered multiple major and structural defects. However the biggest concern is that surveyor and builder are in collusion. 1. Permit was issued stating performance solutions report have been receieved to comply with BAL 12.5. No report exist. Surveyor rubberstamped permit. Council has confirmed no solution report was provided 2. No dts item was not listed on permit. Surveyor did not mandate builder to provide solution report. Issued permit without this. 3. Surveyor advised no photo or notes for the prepour stage and frame stage. Only gave certificate of competition. 4. Frame stage approved in early July. We have photos with medata 2 weeks after approval that frame in some area was not even erected yet. The damaged frame on ceiling and roof that need to be replaced as per engineering report was reused. Since the inspection was not done independently, this means the cannot rely on the prepour and all other things. The whole project is illegal. Value is NIL. Concrete pour most likely isn't even the N25 as per engineer report. Builder refuses to provide delivery docket. This is irrelevant as the prepour stage is compromised. If we go to VCAT and lodge BPC complaint, we understand it takes time. But would like to get some advice what to do from here on. TIA

I hold a Certificate IV in Payroll Administration theoretical baseline, but I have no practical workplace experience. I am looking for an experienced Sydney-based payroll professional or bookkeeper for a 2/3-hour paid mentoring session. What I need: • To sit with you (via Zoom screen-share or in-person) while you show me how you set up employees, process leave, and execute a live pay run using any system (e.g., Xero, MYOB, KeyPay, Aurion, or Chris21). • To show me your real-world workflow for checking hours and filing Single Touch Payroll (STP). I know the legal compliance side, I just need a patient professional to show me the real-world software processing steps so I can build practical confidence.
