Hi, I'm looking for an experienced automotive electronics / car audio installer to install a new Android infotainment system into my 2009 BMW 520d E60 LCI (factory CIC iDrive system). I'm looking for someone who has experience with BMW infotainment upgrades, CANBUS integration and interior trim removal. Equipment supplied by me: XTRONS QWBX24CIB12E60 Android 14 head unit (8GB RAM / 256GB, Qualcomm 685) XTRONS CAM1080 1080P AHD reverse camera Head Unit: https://xtrons.com/product/bmw-5-series-e60-e61-m5-android-os-oem-system-qualcomm-685-octa-core-8gb-ram-256gb-rom-qwbx24cib12e60/ Reverse Camera: https://xtrons.com.au/product/reversing-camera-ahd-camera-cam1080/ Xtrons The installation will include: Removal of factory BMW display Installation of the XTRONS head unit Integration of the supplied CANBUS interface Retention of factory iDrive controller Retention of steering wheel controls Installation and routing of the reverse camera wiring through the vehicle Neat mounting of the reverse camera with an OEM-style finish where possible Connecting GPS antenna Installation of external microphone Connecting USB to existing USB port(s) into the glovebox or centre console Testing of all functions before handover I'm specifically looking for someone who has: Experience with BMW E60/E61 vehicles Experience installing XTRONS (or similar Android) head units Experience with CANBUS integration Experience installing reverse cameras When responding, please let me know: Have you installed XTRONS units before? Looking for someone experienced with car audio / auto electrical installs. Please only respond if you have done this type of work before. I already have a Pioneer head unit installed in a 2010 Toyota Rav 4 and working. I need help with: • Installing a rear view camera, pictured next to the head unit • Re-attaching the microphone to the head unit • Getting the steering wheel controls integrated with the head unit I have purchased adaptors for the steering wheel controls, but the install didn’t work, so it may need troubleshooting or possibly different parts. Must have experience with head units, reverse cameras and steering wheel control integration.
