I’m after an experienced carpenter or handyman to build and install a custom timber wine rack in the space under my stairs. The design is fully drawn up, with elevations, plan, panel layout, cut list and step-by-step instructions, so I’m looking for someone to build it accurately rather than design it. The space: 3100mm long × 900mm deep. Under-stair soffit sloping from 2700mm high at one end down to 300mm. There’s a cupboard at the tall end, and nothing is to be fixed to it. What’s involved: Line the back wall and the back 600mm of the soffit with black acoustic slat panels (Specrite, 6 panels), cut to the slope. Build a freestanding fridge bay at the tall end: 18mm pine side panels exactly 600mm apart, a 600 × 600 marble-look serving top on bearers, a 300-deep serving box above it, a magnum display niche, and two wine columns. Build and install 21 timber ladders (42×19 pine, uprights with 300mm cleats at 100mm pitch, about 470 cleats in total), each scribed to the sloping soffit. Fix them to wall studs, the soffit framing and a raised base on a recessed black plinth. Fit a thin black cornice along the sloped front edge. Fit LED strip lighting in aluminium channel (USB powered, no hardwiring): under the serving box, under the magnum shelf and in the plinth. Please include in your offer: a fixed price for labour (and materials if supplying), your estimated days on site, and photos of similar joinery or shelving you’ve built. The drawings are available to view before quoting. Happy to answer questions.

Carefully remove and replace the immediate adjacent tiles, as the inner edges are chipped and damaged. 4. Grout the new tiles using “Misty grey” grout to seamlessly match the existing floor. 5. Sanding only for my kitchen. I am doing the house DIY but I’m running out of time and need help to get the kitchen done. Area size 4450 x 3350, and there’s one cabinet. Hardwood floors, they’re old with some cupping over around a 1m2 area - I’ve had shot at getting it down but it’s slow (I’m using a crappy Bunnings sander - a big boy may blast through it). I don’t expect it to be perfect but need it as best as possible. Supply your own tools. I’ve prepped the floors, no nail punching or stapling pulling is needed, and no polishing is needed, just sanding and edging.
