We are considering purchasing a property at Strathfield NSW 2135, and would like to arrange a detailed structural engineering inspection of both the main residence and the granny flat. The original dwelling was built around 1980 and underwent substantial alterations and additions in approximately 2016–2017. During our recent building and pest inspection, the inspector identified a suspended floor structure supported by numerous timber posts beneath the main residence. We have obtained the architectural drawings, but the structural engineering drawings are not currently available. We would particularly like your assessment of: 1. The condition and structural adequacy of the existing foundations, timber posts, beams and suspended floor structures. 2. Whether the original structure appears capable of supporting the subsequent alterations and additions, particularly the upper floor. 3. Any signs of structural movement, settlement, deterioration or inadequate support. 4. The structural condition of the balconies, roof and granny flat. 5. Any structural risks associated with moisture and drainage issues beneath the house. 6. Whether further investigations, structural calculations or remedial works are recommended. We would appreciate a detailed written report identifying any structural concerns, their severity and recommended actions. Please advise your availability, inspection scope, estimated fees and whether you would be able to review the architectural drawings and existing building inspection reports beforehand? Thank you.

I’m an architect renovating a house on Scotland Island. Initial engineering inspection and advice are complete; I need someone to assess my proposed steel supports, beams, bracing and footings, confirm what works and suggest practical alternatives. The aim is to resolve member sizes, connections and bolted splices, with marked-up drawings/details suitable for fabricators to quote accurately. Drawings, photos and previous engineering advice available.

I need to get - 7 doors front and back painted internal, - skirting all all my the downstairs floor in the main area (approx 60m of white skirting and door frames) - ensure that no black handles have any paint on it You will need to bring tape, paint rollers and everything to do a good job. I will supply the paint which is lexicon quarter white no gloss. Need this done by Sunday. Last time I did this job by myself, it took me 3 hours. The doors are pretty good so may only need one quick fresh coat. There is nothing to move as I will do all of that. You just need to paint.
