I am seeking a quotation for the structural design and engineering documentation of retaining walls (with concrete sleepers) for a residential project. - Please find the site plan attached for your reference. The retaining walls are to be designed in accordance with the levels shown on the plan. - The existing natural ground level for the proposed building is 92.6m. The proposed Finished Floor Level (FFL) is 92.985. The rear of the site rises to approximately RL 94.200, with the side boundaries increasing gradually from 92.6m at the front to 94.2m at the rear, indicating an overall fall of approximately 1.6 metres from rear to front. - Please consider these levels in assessing the required retaining wall heights and structural design. Kindly advise if a detailed contour survey or additional level information is required. - Please note that the retaining wall along the rear boundary is proposed to be a stepped configuration, in accordance with the attached image. I’d like to build a feature wall similar to the reference image. The wall is uneven because of a structural column, so we’ll need to build a timber frame to pack it out and make the entire surface flush before installing the panels. Layout: • Behind the bed: install a panel approx. 2400mm (H) x 1200mm (W) (not full height). • On the remaining left side of that wall: install a full-height acoustic slat panel (floor to ceiling). Because of the wall step, framing needs to align everything on the same plane. On the deeper side, above the headboard line, include a small horizontal shelf to finish the depth difference and make it look aligned. Add concealed warm LED strip lighting at the top of the slatted panel (indirect light washing down). Clean finish, no visible screws, neat edges against ceiling, side wall, and wardrobe.
