I'm looking for an experienced graphic designer with a beautiful eye for layout, typography and storytelling to create a digital photo book that will be professionally printed. This isn't a standard photobook. It's a deeply personal keepsake celebrating the extraordinary bond between my 12-year-old son and his grandfather. The finished book will become a family heirloom that my son will treasure for the rest of his life. I have: A completed poem (approximately 40 stanzas) Around 75 photographs A detailed design brief A clear vision of the overall style and feel I'm looking for someone who can: Thoughtfully pair the photographs with the poem. Professionally retouch and colour-match the photographs where needed so they feel cohesive throughout the book. Create an elegant, timeless layout ready for professional printing. The style I'm looking for: Elegant and timeless High-end coffee table book quality Beautiful typography Warm, understated design Thoughtfully designed with clear, highly legible typography suitable for an 87-year-old reader Designed to be treasured for generations This project is time-sensitive, so I'm hoping to begin as soon as possible. Because I've had a few disappointing experiences already, I'm looking for someone who is willing to create a simple sample spread or one to two mock-up pages based on my brief before I commit to the full project. This will help ensure we're the right fit creatively. I'm happy to discuss a fair arrangement for this with the right designer. If you've designed premium photobooks, coffee table books or editorial layouts before, I'd love to see examples of your work. Looking for someone with artistic skills to paint/draw illustrations for my Christmas themed picture book. Approximately 16 main scenes of varying sizes and complexity, and around 9 smaller illustrations. Looking for a nostalgic, earthy, realistic quality but not perfect.
