I’m looking for an illustrator for a short children’s story I wrote for my niece, who is nearly 8. “The Voice in the Wind” is a gentle fantasy about three fairies who set out to recover a stolen singing voice from a mischievous wind. It’s about friendship, courage and finding your voice. The story is aimed roughly at ages 7-9, so I’m looking for something imaginative and magical, but not overly preschool or cartoonish. The story is set around Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace in north London. I’d like the fairy world to exist within a lush, slightly enchanted version of the real landscape: woodland, wildflowers, old trees, thorny paths and windswept hills, with recognisable touches of Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace appearing naturally in the backgrounds. Think magical woodland hidden within a real London village rather than a generic fantasy forest. The manuscript is around 1000 words. I’m imagining a 32-page book with roughly 12-16 illustrations (depending on cost) likely a mix of full-page scenes and smaller illustrations, plus a cover. I’m open to the illustrator’s advice on visual storytelling and page layout. This is initially a personal project and gift for my niece, although I may explore self-publishing or a small print run later. Happy to chat about licensing/rights and what that might look like. The project is a master EOI submission containing four attraction applications for an established Australian amusement operator. PowerPoint brand templates for Instagram + logo recolour + short animated outro Description: Small business relaunching our Instagram on 1 October. The brand system is already decided (palette, two Google fonts, existing monogram, layout rules) and I have a reference mock-up of the finished grid. I need one designer to execute it in three parts: 1. PowerPoint template system (.pptx, 1080×1350, fonts embedded) built as locked Slide Master layouts so office staff can change text and images but nothing else: 3 cover tile variants, a two-image comparison layout, a 3-layout carousel set. Plus 5 highlight icons, a profile photo frame, and a 9-tile grid mock-up as PNGs. 2. Logo recolour. Our vector logo (Illustrator PDF) recoloured to the new palette — one element to a flat colour with its gradient removed, the rest to navy. Four colourways plus a monogram-only lockup of each, as SVG/PDF/PNG. Wordmark to be outlined, not retyped. 3. Animated outro. Rebuild our existing 5-second logo animation in the new colours at 1.5 seconds. Two background versions, each in 9:16 and 1:1, ProRes + H.264, no audio. Existing MP4 supplied as motion reference. Full written spec, colour codes, logo file and reference mock-up supplied on acceptance. Source files and ownership transfer on payment. To apply, send: 2–3 examples of brand template or social grid work, 1 example of logo animation, and confirmation you can build locked PowerPoint Slide Masters (essential — not a Canva job) and meet 18 Sep deadline.
