We're a family in Kew East looking for a reliable, warm and organised person to help us three mornings a week with light housework and caring for our baby. This is an ongoing role, not a one-off. A bit about us We live in a 5-bedroom home in Kew East with our 4-week-old newborn and a small, friendly cavoodle. We're a relaxed household and you'll usually have one of us around while you're here. When • Monday mornings, 7am–11am • Friday mornings, 7am–11am • One weekend morning (Saturday or Sunday), 7am–11am – we're flexible and happy to alternate the day depending on your availability and our plans Pay $120 per 4-hour visit ($30/hour) – $360 per week for three visits. What you'll be doing Baby care: • Preparing and feeding bottles • Nappy changes • Settling and soothing baby after feeds • Keeping baby calm and content for a few hours while we get on with things Around the house: • Vacuuming, dusting and mopping • Kitchen and stovetop cleaning • Tidying and laundry • Windows and general light cleaning • Basic meal prep, including lunches and occasionally cooking a Marley Spoon meal kit (recipe cards provided) No need to bring anything – we have all cleaning products, a vacuum, mop and everything else you'll need at the house. Just bring yourself. Requirements • A current Working with Children Check (volunteer or employee) and/or a National Police Check – ideally both, but at least one is essential • Comfortable around dogs (our cavoodle is small and gentle) Who we're looking for • Reliable and punctual – the 7am start matters to us • Comfortable and confident around a young baby • Proactive and tidy, happy to work through a list without much direction • Bonus: proven childcare experience (nannying, early childhood, or looking after young babies) and confidence settling and soothing a baby post-feed
