Got potential wiring issues with the car. Currently crank no start. Thought it was ecu and still may be steering module, but need someone who knows Lexus is250’s to come have a look. The sunroof drain was clogged and water ran down the pillars and could have caused issues with the connections.

Looking for a licensed auto electrician or mechanic to hardwire a front and rear dashcam into my new 2026 BYD Sealion 7. Dashcam: REDTIGER F7NP (front + rear) What I need: - Both cameras installed and cables neatly tucked and concealed, not impeding any safety features (airbags, etc.). - Dashcam hardwired to the vehicle so parking mode / 24/7 recording works. I’ll supply the dashcam itself as well as a USB C hardware kit with a built-in low-voltage cut-off to protect the battery from draining. Happy to provide links to the products if required. Preference is for you to attend my property on Friday 16th (will be parked on the street / carport) and install there. Please let me know if this is not an option for you. Car will be tinted the prior day, so won’t be able to open the car windows - let me know if this will impede the install at all.

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced automotive paint repairer or mobile car detailer to help restore the exterior of my black BMW X4 There are several areas with scratches, paint chips and scuff marks that I’d like repaired. Work required: * Remove or minimise long, light scratches along the side doors and body panels. * Repair deeper scratches and paint chips where the paint has come off. * Repair a larger scrape on the lower side panel near the door trim. * Repair scratches and scuff marks around the rear bumper and wheel arch. * Touch up chipped paint near the door handle. * Machine polish and buff affected areas where appropriate. * Colour-match any paint repairs to the original black finish. Requirements: * Experience with automotive scratch and paint repairs. * Prefer someone who can come to me in Melbourne. * Must bring their own tools, materials and equipment. * Looking for a professional finish, not just temporary scratch concealment. * Please advise whether any areas require respraying. I’ve attached photos showing the damage. Please provide a quote, explain what repairs you recommend, and let me know your availability. Ideally, I’d like to have all the affected areas repaired in one visit if possible. Thanks!

Looking for someone experienced in woodworking or MDF fabrication to measure, template and cut a set of boot lining panels for my 1978 Leyland Mini (single left-hand fuel tank). I'm after a complete set of panels, including the boot floor, sides, rear bulkhead and fuel tank cover. Ideally, the panels would be made from approximately 6mm MDF, accurately cut to fit the contours of the boot. I'm only after the bare MDF panels, as I'll be carpeting and finishing them myself. I can bring the vehicle to you for measuring and test-fitting if required. Located in Melbourne. Happy to discuss materials, pricing and availability. I am okay if you buy the material and include it in cost or I buy and give it to you I have some plans and have attached a picture where the panels will go after I carpet them

Help Needed with Transmission Removal & Rear Main Seal Replacement – 2000 Toyota Echo Looking for an experienced mechanic or someone with good mechanical knowledge to help finish a rear main seal replacement on a 2000 Toyota Echo automatic. Most of the preparation work has already been completed. Everything has been disconnected from the transmission, the subframe has been removed, and I’ve started removing the transmission. However, the engine is currently supported by a hydraulic jack, which isn’t providing adequate support and is causing the engine to sag. I suspect this is making it difficult to remove the transmission. What I need help with: * Bring a suitable engine support bar and potentially tall 3–4 tonne jack stands. * Properly support and stabilise the engine. * Help remove the transmission. * Remove the drive plate and inspect the crankshaft/sealing surface. * Replace the rear main seal. * Reinstall the drive plate and transmission. What’s already done: * Transmission components disconnected. * Subframe removed. * Transmission removal started. * No need to reinstall the subframe or other removed components. I’m looking for someone with experience working on automatic transmissions who has the appropriate equipment and can help complete this stage of the repair safely. Please let me know your experience, availability and whether you have the necessary equipment.
