I’m looking for someone experienced with sewing or fabric alterations to resize an existing mesh flyscreen for the rear tailgate opening of my 2022 Suzuki Jimny. The flyscreen is already supplied. I just need it measured, trimmed and neatly sewn to fit the opening. The work would involve: * Measuring and marking the mesh to fit the rear opening. * Cutting away excess material. * Sewing a neat, reinforced edge to prevent fraying. * Making minor adjustments to the existing magnetic/Velcro attachments if needed. I’m after a clean, snug fit to keep insects out when camping. I’m based in Rosebery, Sydney, and happy to travel locally with the vehicle and flyscreen so it can be measured properly. Experience with mesh, canvas, upholstery or similar fabric alterations would be ideal. Please feel free to ask any questions or provide a quote if additional work is required. Thanks!

I’m looking for an experienced seamstress or sewing machinist in Sydney to finish a small sample run for a new premium tablescape brand. I need: - 6 × round placemats — 38 cm diameter - 6 × round coasters — 10 cm diameter - 3 × napkins — 40 × 40 cm I will provide all printed fabric, matching backing fabric and stabiliser/interfacing. Work required: - Accurately cut around the pre-printed designs - Attach stabiliser between front and back layers of placemats/coasters - Sew and professionally finish each piece - Add a visible decorative edge stitch in thick coral thread, as shown in the reference images - Ensure accurate print placement and a consistent, premium-quality finish - Finished pieces need to withstand a cold/gentle machine wash I'd like to complete 1 placemat + 1 coaster as prototypes first before proceeding with the remaining pieces. Fabric will be available from 14 October. I’m based in Sydney and happy to travel up to ~40 km to drop off/collect. Open to quotes. Please send examples of similar work, your location, estimated turnaround time and price.
