I have a massive Zempire tent where the main entry fly screen zipper has torn away from the actual tent. In the process the actual zipper maybe have been also damaged so this will probably need to be completely replaced. I will be setting the tent up this weekend so can upload some pics of the damage on Sunday evening.

Hi! I have a 10m Beneteau boat with tinted windows that have become scuffed, scratched and hazy over time. I'd love to get them looking clear and glossy again, without replacing them. What I need: - Specialist scratch removal and polishing of the tinted boat windows (acrylic and/or glass) to bring them back to clear, with a bright, even finish - Light to moderate scuffs and hazing removed using the proper plastic/acrylic or glass polishing compounds, pads and technique - Great care taken not to damage, lift, burn or scratch the tint – the tint film needs to stay intact, so I'm after someone who understands the difference between polishing the surface and working near film edges and seals - Windows left clean, streak-free and tidy, with polish residue removed from frames and seals Where: - The boat is in a pen at the marina in Dalkeith. Please let me know if the work can be done in the pen, or if you'd need the boat moved or need anything specific set up (like shade, power or water access). When you make an offer, please tell me: 1. Your method and the products you'd use (compounds, pads, tools) 2. Examples or before/after photos of past results on similar windows 3. Whether it can be done in the pen, and roughly how long it will take I've attached a photo of the cabin and windows so you can see the setting. Timing is flexible within the next couple of weeks and I'm happy to work around your schedule. Thanks a lot – I'm friendly and easy to deal with and will be on hand to answer any questions! Update: only the rear and side windows need polishing, to remove small scuff marks (the windows are tinted glass, tinted through the glass, not a film). The front windows and the side sliding windows are tinted and must NOT be polished. The boat is in the water in its pen at Dalkeith. This should be a few hours' work, so please quote an hourly rate and your estimated hours.

Hi there! I'm looking for a careful, experienced person to give my 10m boat (a Beneteau) a full polish and clean so she looks fantastic again. The hull and topsides have picked up scuffs, oxidation, marks and general dullness, and I'd love to see the gelcoat shine again. What I'd like done: - Full exterior machine polish/cut and wax of the gelcoat hull and topsides – compounding to remove oxidation, light scratches and scuffs, then polishing and finishing with a quality marine wax or sealant - A thorough wash of the whole exterior first (hull, topsides, deck, cockpit and rails) - An interior clean – cabin, galley, heads, seating, floors, surfaces and windows wiped down and vacuumed Where and access: - The boat is in a pen at the marina in Dalkeith, so you will be working on the water. Access is easy and I'm happy to arrange gate or pen access ahead of time. Power and water should be available nearby – ask me if you need details. About you: - Please have solid experience working with marine gelcoat (not just automotive paint) and the right machines, pads and compounds to do it properly without burning or thinning the gelcoat. - Bring all your own tools, polishers, compounds, waxes, cloths and cleaning supplies. When you make an offer, please tell me: 1. What products and method you'll use (compound, polish, wax/sealant, machine type) 2. Before/after photos of similar boat work you've done in the past 3. How much time you expect you'll need to complete the job I'm flexible on timing within the next couple of weeks, so let me know what works best for you. I'm friendly and easy to deal with, and if you do a great job there may be more regular boat care work to follow. Thanks so much! Update: the boat is already in the water in its pen at Dalkeith (not on a hardstand), so no scaffolding is needed. Only the top half of the boat (above the waterline: topsides, cabin and deck) needs polishing. Please quote an hourly rate and your estimated hours.

Earrings based on our supplied design artwork. The designs include: Left earring: Silver star dangle (18 mm) with a glittery pink centre and pink gemstone stud. Right earring: Glossy pink circular hoop (28 mm) with a matching pink gemstone stud. Color Palette: Main hot pink — #FF1493 Base colour Bright pink — #FF0099 hoop colour Light pink — #FF69B4 Glitter and gemstone highlights Quality is important, particularly as the earrings are for a teenager with sensitive ears. We require hypoallergenic, nickel-free materials, preferably implant-grade titanium posts and backs, with lightweight, durable construction and a professional finish. Initially, we would like to see a prototype pair or samples of your current work. And an estimated costs for materials and labour. We are based in Brisbane, Australia, reference artwork attached. Our budget is approximately $30-50 for one pair. We are happy for the jewellery maker to use existing charms and components to reproduce the supplied designs, provided the finished earrings are good-quality, and suitable for sensitive ears. Thank You

Hi there! I need a hand replacing the batteries on my 10m Beneteau boat. The existing batteries are due for replacement and I've got (or will have) new deep-cycle batteries ready to go – most likely Fullriver AGM batteries. What I need: - Safely disconnect and remove the old batteries from the boat - Install the new deep-cycle batteries (Fullriver AGM likely) in the battery bay - Correct wiring: proper cable sizes, clean secure connections, good quality terminals and lugs, battery isolator/switch connections checked, and terminals protected - Secure mounting: batteries properly strapped or fixed down so they can't shift while underway - Test everything at the end: confirm the batteries read correctly, the charging system (engine alternator and/or shore charger) is charging properly, and the boat's systems run as they should Experience: - Marine electrical experience is preferred (or someone confident with 12V/24V boat wiring and AGM batteries). Please bring the tools and test equipment you need (multimeter, spanners, terminal tools, etc.). Heavy lifting: - The batteries are heavy, so I'll need some lifting help. If you have a second person with you, or can manage safe lifting of the old and new batteries (and disposal of the old ones if you're able to help with that), please say so in your offer. Location: - The boat is in a pen at the marina in Dalkeith. I'll make sure you have access to the pen and the boat. When you make an offer, please tell me about your experience with marine batteries and wiring, whether you'll need a helper, and roughly how long you expect the job to take. Timing is flexible within the next couple of weeks. I'm friendly and easy to work with – thanks so much! Batteries to install: 2 × Fullriver DC210-12 house batteries (same model as currently fitted).

Hi, thank you for the quote. I was wondering if there is a more affordable option for my wedding dress. I mainly need extra room at the back, so I was thinking of adding a fabric panel with lace-up ties. Would it be possible to do a simpler alteration, and could you please let me know the price for the back alteration alone, without the sleeves? Thank you!
