I have North Sydney Council approvals to prune an Angophora tree overhanging our property. The approval requires the contractor to be an Arborist with a AQF Level 3 (or above) in Arboriculture and is to carry out all approved works in compliance with Australian Standard 4373-2007 “Pruning of Amenity Trees”. I also have approvals for other pruning which can be done on the same day as well. We don't need removal of the branches/green waste as we will dispose of them in the chipper and mulcher. I need a arborist report for the Randwick City Council to support my appeal against their decision to prohibit me from a cutting an overgrown avocado tree in my backyard down. It’s damaging the fence and just way way too big, but council denied our application on grounds the tree is healthy and contributes to the street scape. But the tree just attracts pests, breaks the retaining wall, buckles the fence and clogs the garage roof gutters and it needs to GO.
