Hi, I have a few pieces of clothing I'd like altered / reworked. Each piece is a beautiful piece of clothing / material but I no longer like the style and would rather repurpose them than give away. I'm looking for an experienced dressmaker who can work with me on this to create some new, simple designs for the clothing. I have an idea of how i'd like to alter each piece but open to suggestions. Item 1: Green pattern maxi dress. I'd like this made into a high waisted maxi skirt - see photos 1 & 2 for example. Item 2: Green velvet dress - I'd like this shortened and the cow neck straightened out Item 3: Blue silk dress, I'd like the hem straightened (currently longer on the sides) - Due date: Before Saturday, 19 November 2022

I have a floor length " layered" dress, that i would look to make in to a short dress. I sort of envision the bottom layer of the dress being attached around the waist so that the skirt areas puffs out a little. its for a hens party on 13th march! thank you:)

I am after a dressmaker to make an A-Line denim skirt to my measurements. I don’t have a pattern. I find it hard to find a-Line skirts that fit me as I have bigger bum/hips and smaller waist. I am a size 14. I am located in Melbourne so someone local who could measure me up would be great otherwise happy to send measurements if that is easier. If it would be easier for me to buy a skirt I like in a bigger size and have it adjusted at the waist I can also do that if you think better. Thanks
