Leaf clearance and planting, front and back garden, Lambeth North Saturday 7 Nov, morning start, done same day. Parking available. 1. Clear all fallen leaves from the front garden (gravel, under the olives and wisteria, steps, both lightwells) and the back courtyard. Bag everything and take it away. Sweep steps and paths after. 2. Plant around 30 nursery plants already sitting roughly where they go. I'll provide a plan with photos. In the ground: 7 Elaeagnus (7L) as a hedge along the front railings, 1 Cotoneaster, 4 hellebores in a small bed (bindweed out first), 3 small Euonymus along a raised bed edge. Into existing pots: 3 big Elaeagnus in a long concrete trough, 2 Pittosporum in white planters, 2 upright Euonymus in terracottas, plus an Aucuba, Nandina, Cordyline, Photinia and Fatsia in single pots. Pots need old plants and compost out, John Innes No 3 in, gravel on top, water in. Ground plants need a proper hole, roots loosened, Rootgrow, firm in, water. The trough sits on top of the party wall, about 3m above the lower ground lightwell, so a ladder reaching 3m is needed for that part. Compost, gravel and Rootgrow are on site. Bring your own tools, leaf bags and ladder. Hose available. Experienced gardener preferred, someone who will plant properly rather than just drop things in. A solid day for 1 person or a half day for 2.

Hey JV, I’d be happy to come and do this next week; if you find someone sooner then completely understand. I’m an experienced gardener so would be keen to sort this for you. Let me know if you don’t get it down over the weekend; Jack
