I have a Hero-branded bathroom ceiling exhaust fan that has stopped working properly. The fan initially starts and runs for approximately one minute before suddenly stopping. It continues to make a humming/buzzing noise but the fan itself no longer spins. I've removed the cover and cleaned the fan. The fan blade/impeller also appears to turn freely by hand. I'm looking for a licensed electrician or experienced exhaust fan technician to: Diagnose the fault. Determine whether the motor can be repaired or replaced. Replace the motor or the complete exhaust fan if necessary. Ensure the fan is working correctly after the repair. The existing fan is installed in the bathroom ceiling. I haven't been able to identify the exact model. Please quote for labour and advise whether replacement parts or a new fan would be additional.
