We’re looking for a friendly and handy person to help us transform our living room into a beautiful, festive Christmas space. Please read entire thread. I’ve attached an image of the living space for reference. We have all the decorations ready to go; we just need someone practical with a creative eye to help us put everything up, arrange the decorations and style the room so it looks fantastic. We have the vision we just require the help. The job will involve putting up and decorating our Christmas tree, including assembling the tree, fitting the Christmas tree lights and carefully placing all the baubles and decorations. We’ll also have a large statement bow to fit at the top of the tree, along with a Christmas tree skirt to finish the look. We’ll need our Christmas stocking holders positioned on the mantelpiece, with the stockings hung and styled beautifully. Candles will need to be placed into their candle holders, switched on. The coffee table styled. To finish off the room, we’ll need Xmas throws /cushions arranged on the soft furnishings to bring the whole look together. We have a very particular Christmas vision in mind, with a fun, Dolly Parton inspired gingham theme. A little extra information: This task will be filmed for social media as part of a video sharing our experience using Airtasker, so you must be happy and comfortable being filmed. You’ll be given an Airtasker T-shirt to wear on the day, so please include your T-shirt size when making an offer. By making an offer, you confirm that you’re happy to be filmed and potentially featured in content shared online, and agree to the use of that content without further compensation, subject to the agreed filming and usage terms. Our little Chihuahua will also be making an appearance in the video, filmed from their perspective! They won’t get in your way but they may supervise your decorating skills.
