Overall clean

Your spring cleaning professional will do a general and detail clean throughout all areas of your home, including bedrooms and living areas. They’ll dust and clean all surfaces (including furniture, electronic devices, window sills, and skirting boards), clean floors (including vacuuming and mopping), and empty bins. Next, they’ll wipe and polish mirrors, door handles, light switches, power points, and more. They’ll remove cobwebs and dust over furniture, wall hangings, and lamps, plus any fans and air-con vents they can reach. Some spring cleans may also include removing wall marks and wiping down wall surfaces.

Kitchen clean

Your cleaner will remove all dirt and grease from surfaces inside your kitchen. They’ll wipe down your benches, splash-backs, and cupboard exteriors. They’ll clean your stove, hotplates, range-hood, microwave, and the outside of your oven, dishwasher, and other appliances. Then they’ll cream cleanse and polish your kitchen sink and taps. Generally, they won’t remove items from or clean the inside of your cupboards, fridge, or appliances - this is considered a separate service to spring cleaning.

Spring cleaning normally includes regular bathroom cleaning services, like cleaning the toilet and wiping down the bath, shower, sinks, and bench-tops. But it also includes deep cleaning tasks like sanitising surfaces, polishing taps and shower-heads, cleaning plug-holes, and wiping down cupboard and drawer exteriors. Your cleaner will also remove exhaust fans and clear away any dust.

Optional extras

Usually, your spring cleaning professional will offer optional extras to detail clean other surfaces that aren’t included in a standard spring clean.
