Our team’s role in Airtasker's mission is…

We’re sales and our goal is, well, to make sales. In bigger words our goal is to drive revenue growth and foster long-term customer relationships through strategic sales efforts. Bit of a mouthful but we love it.

We dig deep to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions that address their challenges and add value to their operations. Customers are our number one priority, making sure every touchpoint gives them a smile.

Our sales team operates with integrity, transparency and a commitment to hitting targets (and beyond!) while upholding the values and reputation of our business. Through innovation, persistence and a customer-centric approach, we strive to consistently achieve sales excellence and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.

Our team’s ways of working are…

We’re pretty flexible in our ways of working. But we do value the importance of face-to-face time so we meet in the office at least once a week. For those who are fully remote, we like to bring them into the office once a quarter. It’s nice to see each other in real life! Especially for some team bonding, knowledge exchange and relationship building.

Our day-to-day involves quite a bit of collaboration across the organisation. We work closely with marketing to generate leads and refine messaging, and with product development to incorporate customer feedback for continuous improvement.

What makes our team awesome to work in is…

We’re awesome, if we don’t say so ourselves. We come together every quarter to have a chat about everything and anything. This helps us get to know each other better and share our knowledge. Being comfortable with each other means a better working environment.

Lisa A.

What began as a side hustle soon became an “accidental” business. After years in a corporate job she didn’t enjoy, Lisa took a friend’s advice and joined Airtasker in 2017.
She took on gardening jobs, using her skills as a qualified horticulturist, with her very first task involving planting and weeding for a client, whom she is now good friends with and still works for nine years later.
Lisa says Airtasker gave her direction when she felt stuck, helping her turn practical skills into a career she truly loves.
