Hi, I’m looking for someone who can do a simple soldering repair today. My Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphone plug broke. I already have the replacement part: Jaycar PP0131, 3.5mm TRS stereo solder plug. I only need the new plug soldered onto the existing headphone cable, then left/right audio tested. For someone experienced, I think this should be around a 20–30 minute job. Basic steps should be: cut off the broken plug, strip the cable, identify the left/right/ground wires, solder them to the new 3.5mm TRS plug, insulate it properly, close the plug, and test the sound. No full cable replacement needed. Budget: NZ$30. I can come to you today if you’re nearby.
