Looking for someone in Auckland CBD to help refurbish / replace the worn-out pads on my Skullcandy Crusher headphones. The headphones still function perfectly, but the faux leather on both ear cushions and the headband cushion is heavily peeling and needs replacing. What I need help with: Sourcing/ordering the correct replacement ear pads and a headband cover online (or I can order them myself if you send me the exact links). Hi, I’m looking for someone who can do a simple soldering repair today. My Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphone plug broke. I already have the replacement part: Jaycar PP0131, 3.5mm TRS stereo solder plug. I only need the new plug soldered onto the existing headphone cable, then left/right audio tested. For someone experienced, I think this should be around a 20–30 minute job. Basic steps should be: cut off the broken plug, strip the cable, identify the left/right/ground wires, solder them to the new 3.5mm TRS plug, insulate it properly, close the plug, and test the sound. No full cable replacement needed. Budget: NZ$30. I can come to you today if you’re nearby.
