Whether you’re getting tasks completed or earning more on Airtasker, we’re creating a community where all members can enjoy a safe and rewarding experience. To help achieve this we wanted to highlight the Completion Rate feature, which appears on every member’s profile.
The Completion Rate measures how reliable and committed you are to a task. Every member has two Completion Rates; one for the percentage of tasks completed as a Tasker, and the other for the percentage of tasks completed as a Job Poster.
TIP: Members need to have completed at least 5 tasks before their respective Completion Rates are displayed.
A high Completion Rate shows that you’re very reliable and able to get tasks completed. This builds your reputation and helps you to stand out when making an offer or posting a task.
A low Completion Rate means you’re frequently cancelling tasks. This creates a negative experience for other members and doesn’t follow the Community Guidelines nor reflect our values.
A low Completion Rate could put you at risk of being restricted or suspended from the Airtasker platform.
How is the Completion Rate calculated?
Tasker Completion Rate – is the percentage of completed tasks out of the total tasks you’ve had an offer accepted on and were expected to completed.
Job Poster Completion Rate – is the percentage of completed tasks out of the total you’ve accepted an offer on.
If you request a cancellation but it’s because the other party isn’t able to complete the task, your Completion Rate will not be affected. Only if you cause the task cancellation will your Completion Rate be affected.
A task cancellation is caused by the Tasker if he or she is unable to complete a task that their offer has been accepted on therefore expected to complete. If the Job Poster decides not to go ahead with the task after accepting an offer, then the task cancellation is recorded as caused by the Job Poster.
Where can I see my Completion Rate?
The Completion Rate is visible on your public profile. As a Tasker, your Completion Rate will also be displayed to the Job Poster when you make an offer.
Why don’t I have a Completion Rate?
Members need to have completed at least 5 tasks before their respective Completion Rates are displayed, otherwise your first few tasks could unfairly represent your Completion Rate and effect your ability to stand out to Job Posters.
For members who have completed less than 5 tasks, it will appear as ‘No Completion Rate’ and for new members who haven’t completed any tasks yet, it will appear as as ‘hasn’t received any reviews just yet’.
What happens if I have a low Completion Rate?
If your Completion Rate is consistently low it means you’re frequently cancelling tasks, which creates a negative experience for other members. A low Completion Rate puts you at risk of being restricted or suspended from the Airtasker platform.
Completion Rate helps to build trust on the Airtasker platform, which is important to the Airtasker community and we’re committed to helping maintain our marketplace integrity.
how do i offer a service i would like to offer wallpapering as a service
Hey Dave – put this in your skills in your profile section then bid on tasks that match this and your other skills…
The completion rate calculation is flawed.
It only ever seems to go down. It never goes up to truly reflect the completion rate.
Please correct this as it is not a true representation of a workers completion rate.
