We’re the engineering team that builds for today, tomorrow and the future. Our goal has always been and will always be creating a valuable product that makes our users and business feel heard and happy.
Every day we put on our thinking caps, beanies and bucket hats to solve problems. We take into account the direction of where we want to go, the cost and work to find solutions that are the best choice in the short and long term.

Our team’s ways of working are…
We’re a generalist, product-driven engineering team that are each other’s biggest fans. Everybody has a role to play in our marketplace, and we work closely to help one another in all facets of what it means to be a software engineer at Airtasker.
Our team is known for owning big parts of the product experience where we assist our Product and Design peers in creating a pragmatic user experience vision. But of course, we also spend time creating technical visions that help us understand how the work we do today allows us to work smarter in the future.

Our superpower is that we all come from different backgrounds and experiences. This makes for a very involved product discussion, whether it be around infrastructure, integrating 3rd party solutions or implementing the latest legal requirements.
