Airtasker Stories: Mitch

By Airtasker

Updated: June 14th, 2018

When I was studying I decided to do tasks over a hospitality job because it's just so flexible.

“I picked up Airtasker when I was studying Philosophy at Sydney University to earn an extra income in between my studies. After doing a few small tasks I found it more flexible than a bar job, so I started doing more and more. Now I specialise in furniture assembly, labouring and removalist tasks.”

Mitch’s tip: “Be prepared to do a little bit extra – people appreciate you going the extra mile and this will be reflected in your reviews.”

“My passion is singing and playing the guitar, I used to busk at nights down at Kings Cross and have become skilled in a Celtic style of acoustic guitar. It’s a rare style and only a few people around the world will know what I’m talking about.”

Need something put together? Mitch is the person for your next assembly task!

It is good to hear of another Celtic musician being creative in other forms of income. Dexterity of musician’s hands helps in assembling furniture I am sure.
