Business planning
Starting a new business and need a business plan? Or want to be more strategic in your existing business? Find a strategy consultant to help with business planning and development. They’ll start by talking through your business goals before creating a written plan that includes the tactics and steps you need to achieve them. From there, you might implement your plan yourself, or hire a business consultant or a marketer to implement it for you.
Testing & mystery shopping
Testing is an essential business service if you’re developing a new offer or want to get an independent perspective on how your store or business is going. You can hire a product tester or user tester to try out your product, make sure it works as expected, and provide feedback on how to improve the product or your process. Or get a mystery shopper to check out your store and report on what the experience is like when you’re not there.
Presentations & reporting
If you’ve got a presentation coming up or an important business report due, you don’t have to do it all yourself. Hire a business consultant with experience in these documents to save you time and deliver a higher quality product. They’ll start by requesting information on the type of document, its purpose, and who’s going to see it. Then they’ll help by writing, formatting, and designing your document to ensure you and your business look professional.
Signage
Many business consultants are experienced service providers who can help promote your business. Professional signs can help your business premises be more visible and attract more foot traffic. Printing signs and banners can create a good first impression at an upcoming tradeshow or conference. Your sign maker will request a copy of your logo and information on what you need printed, including size specifications and any extra features. Finally, they’ll then post or deliver your sign once it’s ready.

I am looking to delegate/share some of my workload (mainly property related admin) to free up my time for a new business I am starting, so passing on some repetitive tasks and looking for ongoing support on an ad-hoc/flexible basis also. Initial jobs will be quite basic, such as - photograph, describe and list various used items for selling online, ensure paid/ collected promptly - go thru returns/refunds of surplus purchases still within refund period & get that £ back - arrange Airtaskers to assist with various home improvement/DIY tasks I need to improve my personal/ work space, help find the materials or products needed - find me someone who does nice business cards, agree with me what it will say on them and get them ordered - ... as we get to know one another there will be more and more to do, as I am looking to outsource about 70% of my current workload/ongoing tasks so I can be free to pursue the new thing This would start as a part-time job and if we work well together may evolve into a full-time arrangement, but I am flexible - if I find the right person, we can make the other details work I am open to both in-person and virtual assistance, I and some of the tasks are based in central London and I find in-person conversations quicker to build rapport and understanding ; this is ongoing work, so I am looking to build a strong collaborative relationship with the right person or people; once we are working well together, the physical location may become less important If you let me know roughly your hourly £/hr expectation and availability for in-person (Canary Wharf primarily) and remote/WFH, that would be helpful Will start the task at £200 for the first 8-10hrs in-person assistance, split across 3/4 sessions of a few hours each (e.g. 4x 2hr or 3x 3hr), as a trial. To start with I would expect it to be around 10-15hr per week, e.g. 3 sessions of 4 hours , M / W / F - Due date: Before Sunday, 28 May 2023 - Due date: Before Sunday, 18 June 2023
