4 south facing windows in our daughter's house (that has been sold) were said to be leaking in the building inspection. New owner (not exchanged yet) has ask for these to be fixed, fair enough. We had new architraving put around them, but he did not attempt to 're-flash' them, or make water tight. I'm hoping a metal water ledge along the top of each (tucked up under the weatherboard), plus loads of silicon will do the job. (Not best practice I know, but these windows were never put in properly I think, and we don't want to replace them.. In the 7 years my daughter has lived there very minimal water has come thru..) These are up high, so not simple to work on.
