I’m having issues with the window door in the second bedroom of my apartment. The door handle won’t move. It is trapped in the closed position, even the door is open, so I’m unable to close the door. I don’t want to aggressively yank and break the handle. I recall I had the exact same issue with my window door in the kitchen in 2021. It was a very easy fix. I think the lock was reset and oiled. Stick Acoustic Vinyl to back of front door. Stick & paint mdf sheet to back of front door. Attach Acoustic Perimeter Door Seal to the perimeter of front door. Add 2 hinges. Items I will provide : mdf , vinyl, door seals and spray adhesive. MDF sheet has been cut down to exact size, (the only cuts the will need to be made is for the spy hole and locks. ) Vinyl is on a roll is the exact width but needs to be cut down to size (L) and again cuts for spy hole and locks. Whoever the job is assigned to needs to have the correct experience and tools to complete the job.
