I have an ikea shelf (roughly 60x60cm, four existing anchor points) that needs to hold heavy goods (~50kg - I have reinforced the shelf itself), but the wall is old masonry (soft brick behind plasterboard, no gap) and my fixings are not doing the job. If you have time, fitting two hooks that would hold planters hanging from the ceiling would be ace, but only if it’s a quick add on. Must provide better masonry fixings than the ones I have (I have tried three), and have experience with old masonry, soonest is best. Weds / Thurs ideal.
