What do garden cleaning services include?

Garden cleaning services cover general cleaning of your garden and outdoor space. It includes tasks such as cleaning out old pots and garden furniture, removing dead and fallen leaves from your pond, and hauling away your garden waste. Since garden cleaning requires a lot of time and physical activity, hiring a Tasker to clean your garden for you is easier and faster than trying to do it on your own. Here's what Taskers can do for you once you book a garden cleaning service:

Garden cleaning

Garden cleaning can involve a wide array of major and minor tasks depending on your garden's current condition. For starters, dust, cobwebs, and other debris are removed from your benches, dining sets, and other garden furniture. Dead leaves, fallen twigs, and broken branches are raked away to give way for your grass to breathe and absorb sunlight and moisture. Your Tasker can also scrub off stubborn dirt from your patios, walkways, and other surfaces using a pressure washer.

In case your garden needs more work, you can book a garden maintenance service to ensure a thorough cleaning. Taskers can even do gardening work including mowing your lawn, pruning your trees, and taking out weeds to help keep your garden healthy and thriving all year round.

Pond cleaning

A beautiful and healthy pond is the focal point of any garden or backyard. While ponds are a great addition to any home, its upkeep can be taxing and tedious. If you need quick and efficient pond cleaning services, we have plenty of Taskers who are happy to help you out. They can clean out your pumps and filters, remove leaves and other sediments from the bottom and surface of your pond, and replace any dead plants surrounding your water installation.

They can also use specific pond treatments such as ultraviolet clarifiers and gypsum to retain your pond water's colour and clarity. Regardless of the season, our Taskers can assist you with all your pond maintenance needs so you can keep enjoying this little slice of nature inside your home.

Garden waste collection

No garden cleaning job is complete without safely collecting your garden waste and removing them from your property. Garden waste can include grass clippings, leaves, flowers, weeds, and other tree and shrub trimmings. Since garden waste is biodegradable, it's best to leave the garden clearance job to a Tasker who has the right skills and expertise. This way, you can avoid any damage to your property while having the satisfaction of having a newly cleaned garden and outdoor space.

Help me figure a whining car engine and another

Dolcliffe Common, South Yorkshire

18th Jul 2018

Hi all, I have recently purchased a new car, there is a small whine sometimes when it is cold, coming from around one of the auxilary units such as the air con or alternator. I recently replaced the drive belt and water pump myself a few weeks ago because that broke, but now I don't have access to any tools. To be honest it only took a socket set :) Just want to figure out what that is, or try to. There is also a small rattle from the front of the car around the drop links, so probably could do with jacking it up and giving it all a shake to figure it out, but don't mind if we are beaten and can't find out these things, but would like some help by someone. It's a 2008 Daihatsu Sirion with a small 1.0 three cylinder Toyota engine. Really well built and easy to work on. I was hoping that someone would like to come and basically do most of it, and I offer help because I just don't have the tools and I know that there are more mechanically minded people out there, but I do understand what i'm looking at. Could be ongoing work if you can figure it out :) Warmest regards, Ben

Small bit of welding on car exhaust

Dolcliffe Common, South Yorkshire

10th Jul 2018

Hi there, My car exhaust broke recently on a weld and I took it to the garage to get welded back on, but I wondered if anybody would be able to weld a few small pieces of metal onto the pipe where it joins into the back box, just as some extra support. I am just worried that if it breaks again then the exhaust dangles onto the ground, so I would like it to have more welds to stop that happening. You would need some old exhaust pipe or a few inches of steel, and a mig welder for this :) I'm happy to drive to your house for this of course! Thanks in advance for your quotes. Warmest regards, Ben
