Lamp suddenly failed to.work when attempted to switch on. Checked obvious - bulb, fuse, socket: all fine. It has an on/off switch on the lead: no way I can check this.

Two lamps needing work. 1. Bedside lamp - tiny switch wires have come unstuck - too fiddly for me to manage. Probably needs a new switch. Probably need to fit a new plug too once the wire has been fed back through a hold in the fitted furniture to where the wall plug is inside the cupboard. (Current plug is an Italian one.) 2. A three-degree touch dimmable bedside lamp got knocked and has stopped working. Have changed bulb and still no joy. Might be a fuse? Or the dimmer wiring?
