Introducing a better way to earn

A new fee structure is here to make earning on Airtasker even better. Since launching in the UK, the response from you, our members, has been overwhelmingly positive. Together we have generated more then £3.4 million worth of new tasks all across the UK – providing a new flexible way for people to earn.

We’d like to thank you for coming on this journey with us. We’ve come a long way and are determined to do more to make Airtasker work for you.

That’s why from the 8th of November we will reduce the service fee across all Tasks. Through conversations with Taskers across the UK we have come up with the value scale, which reduces the fee rate as the Task value increases. The fee will be as low as 10% on high-value tasks – so you pocket more for bigger tasks!

The fee your charged is reinvested into the platform. It pays for the marketing required to create task opportunities, developing and maintaining software, providing support, insurance and secure payments. As always you’ll see a clear breakdown of the fee, including VAT, when you make an offer.
