What does an oven repairs include?

Our oven repair and installation specialists can handle different types of oven problems and can install various types of ovens, such as built-in ovens and commercial units. Your oven engineer will take charge of assessing your oven’s needs and will bring the necessary tools for repair or installation. Here’s what to expect when you book an oven repair specialist through Airtasker:

Tools and supplies

The oven engineer will arrive with the necessary tools and parts for your oven. This may include a screwdriver, a flashlight to check the inside, replacement bulbs or valves, and so on. No need to run down to the store or bring out your tool kit at home - just let your Tasker take care of everything. Of course, your Tasker can finish the job faster if you provide your oven’s brand and model in your task post, and be as detailed as possible when describing what you need (e.g. “fan oven repair for X brand and model oven”). This is especially true for those in need of repairs.

Oven installation

Whether you just purchased a standalone oven or one that’s built into your range, a Tasker can help you get it up and running. Typically, Taskers can handle gas, electric, and dual fuel ovens, though it’ll help if you specify what kind you have in your task post.

If you have any special requests, such as placing the oven under a countertop or into a built-in cabinet, your Tasker can help you do this as well. Do note that you may need the help of a licensed electrician or gas fitter when working with your oven’s power supply.

Oven repair

If your oven has been going wonky, it’s time to get an oven repair specialist to drop by your kitchen. Taskers can typically handle common oven requests, such as oven fan repair and built-in oven repair. If both your range and oven are troublesome, you can also request stoves oven repair via Airtasker.

While most oven repairs boil down to just a faulty part that needs replacement, it’s better to get the whole appliance checked by a specialist. Or, you may need to get your oven cleaned more regularly! Whatever the problem is, your Tasker can help you troubleshoot and solve it so that you can go back to baking and roasting in an instant.

Oven repair and installation isn’t the only kitchen task you can get done with the help of Airtasker. You can also request a plumber, cooker hood specialist, fridge engineer, and many others - tap the “Post a task” button to get started.
