I am seeking a teacher/tutor for an 11-year old (Grade 6) who is not able to attend school for 2-months. The child would benefit from having a learning plan (they love to learn) and face-to-face is preferable as not being at school means they are also missing out on social interaction. The sessions would be 1-2hrs and this post is for a single, 2hr session. If things go well, this opportunity could then be weekly or twice a week. The tutoring needs to be between 930am-3pm during the school day. (parent works from home so they will be there the whole time). Starting asap is preferable but I could not reflect this in the date section. There is flexibility with day/s of the week If there is a way to have a learning plan and tasks he can do in between, that would be good. If you think you can assist with this, please let me know. The rate here is for 2hours to allow for an initial session. My nine year old son is interested in Japan. He loves sushi, is fascinated by Pokémon, and curious about anime such as kawaii cats. We’d like to take him in a year or so but before we do, we’d like him to learn some beginner Japanese. We are looking for a regular tutor to come to our home once a week after school between 4-6pm and talk with him about Japan and teach him the language! We think a 45 minute session each week would be good. We thought face to face would be good but if some lessons were online that would be ok too. My son is in year eight. With support he can understand and complete maths questions as they appear in his maths text book. However in an exam the questions are written slightly differently and he does not understand how to interpret what to do, as a result his exam marks are poor however this does not reflect his understanding of the work.
