Hi, I need to remove 1 big tree and 6 small trees. The small trees are pine trees and should not be difficult. The big tree appears to be Ficus Elastica (Rubber Tree), which does not require council approval (see https://www.thehills.nsw.gov.au/files/sharedassets/public/v/10/ecm-website-documents/page-documents/fact-sheets-guides/fact_sheet_-_tree_management.pdf) I attach close up photos of the big tree and its leaves to help you identify whether it is Ficus Elastica and therefore does not need council approval. Council have approved to remove approx 15-18 trees on a vacant lot in North Kellyville. Tree stumps need to be left at a height of 800mm. Removal of trees from site will be required.
I do not recommend. I hired this company to remove marked trees on my vacant lot prior to building our house. Luke attended and removed 4 unmarked trees (which were not approved by council). In the process, he damaged the neighbours fence. I had provided Luke with council plans and marked the trees myself. He also left 1 tree which was to be removed. I have attempted several times to contact Luke to remove the remaining tree however he continues to be difficult to contact and continues to make excuses for not being able to return to site. I already paid him in full and as he sounded like a nice guy, I had every faith he would return. Due to the delays, we've had to push back construction and have since had to hire someone else to complete job.
