Hi guys, I need someone to quote me on a minor repair to one of my timber pieces supporting the bull nose verandah. I had another one done a few years back and they cut and rebate jointed a similar size and put a metal bracket and dynabolted to bricks. The width of the timber is 65mm and height is about 200mm. Require a licensed carpenter to carry out some repairs to an existing verandah. This particular job includes two posts (5.4m lengths) and beams in between three posts (3m each). The posts are fixed into a shoe which can be unbolted easily. Top of posts also have bolts securing. The person will need to have some props to support underneath whilst repairs are carried out. I have carpentry type work I need doing on verandah. Want to sell and need place looking as good as possible without spending too much. I'm on a disability pension.

I am looking for someone who can help me replace three beams (approx 3 m in length each) on my front verandah as well as repair two sets of stairs. The task involves the following break up: - Replace Main Stairway STEPS which has 5 steps (they get unbolted and new pieces will get bolted in). Each step is 3.03m in length, 30cm wide and 6.5cm height (I think it is all hardwood which is what I would like it replaced with) While replacing the main stairway, I would like the main beam which holds the stairway to be replaced as well. The beam is approx 3m in length and 210mm x 70mm rectangular shape. A small part of the verandah would need some props to hold up while replacing this beam (can be held with one piece of wood with a jack and post underneath) - There is a second stairway to the verandah which also needs 1 step replacing along with the beam behind it. The steps on this stairway is 2.65m long and the same specs as the first stair steps. Same thing as the first stair way, you would need to use some props to support this part of the verandah while replacing the beam. - Last part is a post which needs replacement. The post can be rebate jointed to the existing top half of the post. The part of the post that needs replacement is approx 3.5m and it is a square shape 120mm x 120mm (i think it is treated pine). The beam on the left and right of the post would also need to be replaced or supported with a metal bracket that can attach to the post. The post will fit into a horse shoe clamp at the bottom of the post which is already concreted into the ground. Please quote for work including the materials. No paintwork needs to be done but can be discussed. You have to bring your own props. Further work can be discussed if the job is done well. See attached photos with commentary. Water leaks from the wall between verandah wall connected to the living room windows ( this is a two-story town house)

Hi - I have a concrete verandah around the house that has some stains so I need someone to come with a concrete grinder and clean.

Cost of installing and grouting new terracotta tiles (about 2m2) in verandah area. Only cracked tiles in the first two rows need to be removed and disposed. We have bought new terracotta tiles.

We have a 2.5m deep Bullnose Verandah around our house. It is colourbond steel on timber frame. The Axom cladding is to be fixed to the underside of the timber frame, to line the verandah roof. I have not purchased the cladding or fixings. The job is to supply the cladding and install to the verandah. The Verandah is 75 m long, it is on 4 sides of the house. One small corner section does not have the verandah.
