The balustrade to our front door has started to loosen - the fixing is a bolt into stonework. We’re planning to renovate in around a year so we want the solution to last that long, don’t want to overdo it. I’m expecting the solution is something like a chemset compound to reanchor the two bolts. Work is at ground level. We need an old fireplace bricked-in and rendered so that it’s removed. We would like it to be finished so that it blends into the wall around it as much as possible so it’s not too noticeable.
