Quote to supply & install 2m length 1m high & 1m length 1m high new internal timber balustrade to match existing painted timber balustrade.

12m of balustrade and handrail replacement required on front stairs and deck of two story Queenslander. 4x4 posts are in good condition but 1or 2 may need replacing. Painting required to protect against full sun and rain.

We need a qualified carpenter to take down this existing balustrade, and put in a higher one. We are moving in soon and our large dog will be able to jump this. We have the correct paint to repaint it, but would need you to source the wood and fixtures. We will also still need a gate there. We have an old QLDer home that has the front balcony with two worn out cylinder wooden slat things (like the guard rail so kids can’t fall out) on the outside of the balcony. Everything else seems in cood condition so was hoping just to replace these two with identical white wooden pieces. Let me know if someone can do this easily enough. • Option 1= based on the pollen trap mounting support system in the Melbourne example in photo below. At the above Herston building, the horizontal angle iron supports will rest on the upper balustrade railings on the roof parapet walling. As my sketch drawing below shows, the pollen trap legs will be fixed to the bottom of steel piping droppers suspended 180mm below the horizontal angle iron supports. The length of the steel droppers is limited by the maximum 200mm long bolts I have been advised to use by Brad Taylor at P&F who advises on structural engineering issues on our projects. 180 length of piping allows for thickness of angle iron support, washers and nuts along bolt length. Therefore, as my sketch drawing below shows, the legs of the pollen trap will be mounted 1155mm above the roof floor. Hi there! Old Queensland cottage crying out for love. Small section of balustrade needs handrail replaced as it is rotten. I have got the original upright timbers which have been painted ready to be replaced. Two or three other sections on this deck where odd timbers have loosened and need repair or replacement. Front deck at entrance to property handrail needs fixing back to main upright, it is unsafe.

We have a partition wall on a mezzanine measuring 6.5mx3.5m long, across two sides. We’d like this transformed to match the adjoining balustrade. All electrical has already been removed. - Due date: Before Monday, 31 July 2023

Existing painted timber balustrade on back deck of QLDer ... about 15 battens need replacing - all battens supplied ... just need to remove damaged or rotted ones, install new ones with nails (not supplied), putty the gaps, sand and paint white (paint supplied). Require carpenter to remove balustrade from around the stairs to under the house and install floor to match rest of the room and install a trap door for access.
