Hello!

A client has installed new templates and made major changes to a website for Push Mobility (Australia) - and in the process they wiped out most of the GA implementation.

TASK
* Run a crawler to find out where/how it's still installed (the GA account is picking up some stats, I want to ensure we don't end up with duplicate tags firing on some pages after this job
* Reimplement GA
* Test and verify (I can extend access to the GA account if required)

Should be a quick fix - but if it turns out to be more complicated we can renegotiate on the time required.

I have hosting and CMS access details ready to go.

Simple way to check if a website has Google Analytics installed correctly.

Go onto the website and right click and go view source. Then it opens up the pages ntrol-f brings up a find box.. type in Google Analytics.. if it finds the source code..

it should look like this

<script type="text/javascript"> var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', '(Account Number)']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = (' == document.location.protocol ? ' : ' + ' /ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })(); </script> If you find this code, Google Analytics is installed properly.
If it does not find this then it is not set up correctly.
Will need access to the GA account to get the analytics code and Wordpress access to install the code.
Can you share your website link ?
