My washing machine flooded the house. It's a Hoover Commodore Heavy Duty 5.0kg. It's a top loader and when I opened the lid, whe water continued to pour in. Opening the lid usually stops all aspects of the cycle. The only way to stop the flow was to turn off the tap. The water had gone way over normal level, but wasn't spilling over the top so it's leaking from somewhere.

Hi there, I have extensive experience repairing washing machines of all makes and models. I also stick refurbished units and most parts. I'd be happy to come and look at this for you and sort the problem. Just accept my offer and we can discuss further. Regards, James

Hi Christopher, sounds like a faulty inlet valve. My offer covers my call out, inlet valve and electrical safety check at completion.
